Premier Play System

The F2F Tour is Canada’s official path for M:TG international play. The F2F Tour Regional Championships will award top players an invitation to the Pro Tour and World Championships. The F2F Tour will be divided into three rounds per year.

Each Tour Regional Championship will contain:

  • Exclusive promo for all competitors.
  • Foil exclusive promos for top competitors.
  • $20,000 USD in prizes.
  • Invitations to the Pro Tour for top competitors.
  • One invitation to the World Championships.

Round 4 (Format: Pioneer)

Round 5 (Format: Modern)

How to Qualify for the Tour Regional Championships

Players can earn an invitation for the Regional Championships by playing in Qualifiers. There are 3 types of qualifiers; Qualifier, Qualifier+, and Super Qualifiers.

The number of Tour Regional Championship invitations per qualifying event are as follows:

  • Qualifier & Qualifier+ events are run by F2F Games & offered to WPN Partners.
  • Qualifier & Qualifier+ events are typically run in Local Game Stores or as side events at F2F Tour and Destination Events.
  • Super Qualifiers are available at F2F Tour Events and Destination Events.
  • Super Qualifiers are flexible and the number of final invites are determined at the beginning of round 1 once final attendance is confirmed.

Players who earn more than one invitation per round are welcome to play in both Tour Regional Championships. Players who qualify once can participate in either of the two, but not both Tour Regional Championships in that round. Qualifiers are not region specific. Invitations awarded to top players cannot be passed down, transferred, used in another global region (outside Canada) or in a later round.

Round 5 Qualifiers
September 9 – December 17, 2023 – Modern/Sealed Deck

Round 6 Qualifiers
January 6, 2024 – March 24, 2024 – Standard/Sealed Deck
